The Pitco Pump Assembly, 115V/230V, 4 GPM is a genuine OEM replacement pump assembly rated for 4 gallons per minute at dual-voltage 115 or 230V operation for Pitco commercial fryer oil filtration systems. It provides the flow rate suited for single-fryer or smaller-capacity filtration systems where a lower GPM pump completes the vat drainage and oil return cycle within an acceptable time frame. Using the correct OEM dual-voltage assembly allows installation on any 115 or 230V filtered Pitco fryer without requiring a separate motor for each voltage.
Over time, the original 4 GPM pump assembly can experience progressive impeller wear, internal seal fatigue, and motor capacitor failure that reduce flow and extend filtration cycle times beyond acceptable limits. A pump delivering below-rated flow leaves oil in the fryer vat partially drained during the filter cycle, reducing filtration effectiveness and defeating the purpose of regular filtration. Installing the replacement assembly restores the rated 4 GPM flow for efficient single-fryer oil filtration.
The assembly mounts on the filter pan pump bracket and connects to the oil circuit hoses and the 115 or 230V power supply using the original hardware. It is recommended to replace the pump assembly when filtration cycle times increase measurably or when the pump fails to prime and begin moving oil within the normal startup window.
