The Pitco Pump Service Assembly, 115/230V, 4 GPM is a genuine OEM replacement pump service assembly rated for 4 gallons per minute at dual-voltage 115 or 230V operation for Pitco commercial fryer filter systems. It is suited for single-fryer filtration applications where a lower flow rate is appropriate for the vat volume and cycle time requirements. Using the correct OEM service assembly ensures the pump and seals are matched for hot-oil duty at the electrical supply available in the installation.
Over time, the original 4 GPM pump assembly can experience reduced flow from impeller wear or internal seal degradation that allows oil to bypass the impeller, increasing cycle times and reducing filtration effectiveness. A pump running beyond its service life may also develop external oil leaks at the housing seam or shaft seal. Installing the replacement service assembly restores rated 4 GPM flow and eliminates leak paths.
The assembly connects to the filter system's oil inlet and outlet hoses and plugs into the 115 or 230V power supply. It is recommended to replace the pump service assembly during annual preventive maintenance on single-fryer filter systems or when measured filtration cycle time exceeds the rated specification. Pairing the new assembly with a fresh filter media installation and filter pan cleaning will give the single-fryer filtration system a complete and cost-effective service overhaul.
