The Pitco Pump Assembly, 208V, 8 GPM is a genuine OEM replacement pump assembly rated for 8 gallons per minute at 208-volt supply for Pitco commercial fryer oil filtration systems. It delivers the flow rate needed for efficient filtration of large-capacity fryer vats within an acceptable cycle time. Using the correct OEM assembly ensures the pump and motor are matched to the 208V electrical infrastructure common in commercial kitchen installations.
Over time, the original pump assembly can experience reduced flow from impeller wear, cavitation damage from running the pump dry, or motor winding failure from operating on low or high line voltage. Reduced flow extends filtration cycle times, increasing oil exposure to heat and oxidation and degrading oil quality between changes. Installing the replacement pump assembly at the rated 8 GPM restores efficient filtration throughput.
