The Pitco Computer, PH with Overlay, Replacement is a genuine OEM replacement PH-series digital fryer control computer supplied with its overlay label for Pitco commercial fryers. The overlay provides the button legends, temperature scale markings, and brand labeling that allow operators to correctly identify and use all control functions. Using the correct OEM computer with the matching overlay ensures all displayed information and control labels correspond precisely to the programmed functions.
Over time, the original PH computer can develop keypad failures from grease and moisture intrusion under the overlay, display segment dropout, or corrupted setpoint memory from repeated power cycling during kitchen cleaning. The original overlay can also delaminate, obscuring control labels and leading to operator error. Installing the replacement computer with a fresh overlay restores both the functional electronics and the clear, legible control interface.
The computer and overlay install in the original control panel cutout using the existing mounting hardware and wiring connectors. It is recommended to replace the computer and overlay together whenever the control becomes unresponsive, displays inaccurate temperatures that cannot be corrected by probe replacement, or when the overlay is no longer legible.
