The Pitco PCB Assembly, AFB2 Single, GM Advanced is a genuine OEM replacement control board for Pitco commercial fryers equipped with the AFB2 single-fryer automated filtration system in the GM Advanced (General Management Advanced) configuration. It orchestrates the drain, pump, and return valve sequence for automated oil filtration and communicates with the GM Advanced fryer management interface. Using the correct OEM board ensures the relay ratings, connector pinout, and control logic match the GM Advanced system architecture.
Over time, the original AFB2 board can suffer relay contact welding from motor inrush currents, microcontroller failure from electrical transients, or corrosion of board traces from cleaning chemical vapor. A failed board can cause the filter system to skip steps in the filtration sequence, leave the drain valve open, or fail to start the return pump. Installing the replacement board restores the complete and correctly sequenced automated filtration logic.
The board is mounted in the filter control enclosure using the original standoffs and connects to the system harness via board-mount connectors. It is recommended to replace the board whenever filtration sequence faults cannot be resolved by replacing individual actuators or pump components. Pairing the new board with a complete filter cycle functional test and a GM Advanced system communication check will confirm the fryer management integration is fully operational.
