The Pitco Ball Valve, 1-1/4 FP, Powered is a genuine OEM replacement 1-1/4 inch full-port motorized ball valve for Pitco commercial fryer automated oil filtration systems. Combined with its drive actuator, it provides the automated open-close function in the fryer drain line that enables hands-free oil filtration cycle operation. Using the correct OEM full-port valve ensures unrestricted oil flow when open and a bubble-tight shutoff when closed, sized for the 1-1/4 inch filtration system plumbing.

Over time, the original powered ball valve can develop seat leakage from wear and carbon debris, ball surface scoring, or stem seal degradation that causes visible oil drips at the valve body during filter cycling. Internal wear can also prevent the ball from seating fully, reducing the shutoff quality needed for safe fryer operation. Installing the replacement valve provides a new, undamaged ball and seat with full-port flow and tight shutoff.

The valve is installed in the existing drain line using the original pipe thread or flanged connections. It is recommended to replace the ball valve when visual inspection reveals seat leakage or when the valve body shows signs of external oil weeping. Pairing the new powered ball valve with the matching actuator assembly inspection and a post-installation leak test will give the fryer drain circuit a complete and verified automated shutoff restoration.
