The Pitco Computer, TS FBW Back Mount, 7 is a genuine OEM replacement touchscreen fryer control computer designed for back-mount installation on Pitco commercial fryers. The 7-inch touchscreen interface provides operators with intuitive access to temperature setpoints, cook program timers, filter cycle management, and system diagnostics. Using the correct OEM computer ensures full compatibility with the fryer's sensor inputs, actuator outputs, and communication bus.
Over time, the original touchscreen computer can develop unresponsive touch zones, display backlighting failure, corrupted program memory from power anomalies, or failed communication with the probe and actuator circuits from moisture and heat exposure in the back-mount location. A malfunctioning computer leads to loss of temperature control automation, disabled filter prompting, and inability to run preset cook programs. Installing the replacement computer restores the full automation and operator interface capability of the fryer.
The computer mounts in the original back-panel location using the existing hardware and connects to the fryer's wiring harness through the original connectors. It is recommended to replace the computer whenever touchscreen calibration cannot be restored, when persistent communication fault codes appear, or when the display fails. Pairing the new computer installation with a full system calibration and cook program reprogramming will bring the fryer back to its optimal configured state.
