The Pitco PCB Assembly, AFB3 Single is a genuine OEM replacement control printed circuit board for Pitco commercial fryers equipped with the AFB3 single-fryer automated filtration control system. The board manages the complete automated filter sequence, including drain valve actuation, pump operation, filter cycle timing, and return valve control for a single fryer unit. Using the correct OEM PCB ensures the logic, relay ratings, and connector layout match the AFB3 single fryer wiring harness.
Over time, the original AFB3 PCB can suffer relay contact failure from the high inrush current of pump and actuator loads, trace corrosion from grease-laden kitchen vapor, or component failure from electrical transients on the power supply. A failed PCB may trigger false filter alarms, fail to execute the drain or return sequence, or leave the pump running continuously. Installing the replacement PCB restores the complete automated filtration logic for the single fryer unit.
The PCB mounts in the original filter control enclosure using the existing standoffs and connects to the harness via the original board-mount connectors. It is recommended to replace the PCB whenever the filter system fails to execute the correct sequence despite correct solenoid and pump function at the component level. Pairing the new PCB installation with a full filter cycle functional test will verify that all automated steps execute in the correct order and timing.
