The Pitco Tank Weldment, Shipping, TBV-SRTG14 is a genuine OEM replacement fryer vat weldment for the Pitco TBV-SRTG14 commercial fryer model, supplied for shipping as the primary cooking vessel of the fryer. This welded stainless steel assembly forms the interior oil containment tank, cold zone geometry, and heating element or flue tube mounting points of the fryer vat. Using the correct OEM weldment for the TBV-SRTG14 ensures the vat volume, drain port position, and heating system interface match the fryer's design specifications.
Over time, fryer vat weldments can develop pinhole leaks or full weld cracks from the thermal cycling stress of daily heating and cooling, chemical attack from strong cleaning agents left in contact with the vat surface, or physical damage from improper cleaning tool use. A leaking vat weldment cannot be safely operated and requires immediate replacement to prevent hot oil discharge under the fryer.
