The Pitco Lift/Carriage Assembly, Silver is a genuine OEM replacement motorized basket lift and carriage mechanism for Pitco commercial fryers equipped with an automatic basket lift system. It provides the physical structure and drive mechanism that raises fry baskets out of the hot oil at the end of a programmed cook cycle, draining the product and signaling cycle completion without operator intervention. Using the correct OEM assembly ensures the carriage geometry, motor mounting, and basket hook engagement match the Pitco fryer's lift guide rails and basket handles.
Over time, the original lift and carriage assembly can experience guide rail wear, basket hook deformation from overloaded baskets, motor or gearbox failure, and corrosion of the stainless carriage body from continuous exposure to oil vapor and cleaning chemicals. A worn or failed lift assembly prevents automated basket raising, increasing labor demands and exposing operators to the risk of manual contact with hot oil and baskets. Installing the replacement assembly restores fully automated basket lift operation.
The assembly mounts on the fryer's front lift rail system using the original hardware and connects to the basket lift driver board via the lift motor harness.
