The Pitco Filter Disconnect Assembly, Insulated is a genuine OEM replacement quick-disconnect fitting assembly with thermal insulation for Pitco commercial fryer oil filtration systems. It provides the connection point between the fryer drain line and the filter pan oil hose, with insulation to protect operator hands from burns when connecting and disconnecting the hot oil circuit during the filtration process. Using the correct OEM assembly ensures the fitting dimensions, seal materials, and insulation jacket match the Pitco filter system's drain connection geometry.
Over time, the original disconnect assembly can develop O-ring seal degradation that causes oil drips at the connection, insulation jacket deterioration that exposes operators to hot metal surfaces, or fitting body corrosion that makes the disconnect difficult to engage and release. A leaking or seized disconnect assembly creates a serious hot oil burn hazard during the daily filtration process. Installing the replacement insulated assembly provides fresh seals and an intact insulation jacket for safe, drip-free connections.
