PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Pitco B6671107 Filter Clip Paper Weldment, Silver is an OEM replacement part engineered for Pitco commercial fryers and filtration systems. Designed to support reliable operation, safety, and performance during service and maintenance.

Details
The Pitco Filter Clip Paper Weldment, Silver is a genuine OEM replacement stainless steel filter media clip and paper retention weldment for Pitco commercial fryer filter pans. It secures envelope or paper filter media in position over the filter pan drain port, preventing the media from shifting or floating when hot oil is pumped back through the filter circuit. Using the correct OEM weldment ensures the clip geometry holds the filter media tightly over the pan's suction point, eliminating media bypass and ensuring all oil passes through the filter.
Over time, the original filter clip weldment can develop bent retaining tabs from cleaning tool impact, weld joint cracking from thermal cycling, or corrosion that causes the clip to bind on the filter pan standpipe. A damaged clip allows the filter media to shift, creating a bypass gap through which unfiltered oil passes directly to the pump inlet. Installing the replacement weldment provides a secure, correctly positioned clip that holds the filter media flat and centered.
The clip weldment is placed over the filter media after the media is positioned in the pan, pressing it firmly against the pan floor around the suction point. It is recommended to inspect the filter clip weldment during every filter media change and replace it if any retaining tabs are bent or if the clip no longer holds the media flat. Pairing the new weldment with correctly sized OEM envelope filter media will give the filtration system maximum debris capture efficiency with no bypass.
