The Pitco Wiring, Probe Service Kit, SE/SEH/MEII is a genuine OEM replacement temperature probe and wiring harness service kit for Pitco Solstice Electric (SE), Solstice Electric High-capacity (SEH), and Multi-Electric II (MEII) commercial fryer models. It provides the temperature sensing probe and matching harness needed to restore accurate oil temperature feedback to the digital control system on these electric fryer platforms. Using the correct OEM kit ensures the probe resistance curve, connector pinout, and harness routing match the SE, SEH, and MEII fryer wiring architectures.
Over time, the temperature probe in these electric fryers can drift out of calibration, develop open-circuit element failures, or produce intermittent readings due to corroded terminals and heat-degraded wiring insulation at the high-temperature vat penetration point. Inaccurate probe signals cause the fryer to operate at wrong temperatures, over-stressing the heating elements and degrading oil quality. Installing this service kit restores accurate temperature sensing with a fresh probe and full wiring harness.
The probe mounts in the original vat bulkhead location and the harness routes to the control computer's probe input. It is recommended to replace the probe and wiring together whenever temperature deviation from a reference thermometer exceeds five degrees or when intermittent probe fault codes appear. Pairing the kit installation with a heating element resistance check and a setpoint calibration verification will give the SE, SEH, or MEII fryer accurate and stable electric temperature control.
