The Pitco Burner, 601 Wire Face Screen, Natural Gas, SG is a genuine OEM replacement burner for Pitco Solstice Gas commercial fryers. The wire-face screen burner design provides efficient, even heat distribution across the fryer vat floor for consistent oil temperature and optimal frying performance. Using the correct OEM burner ensures proper BTU output, flame pattern, and compatibility with the Solstice Gas heat exchanger geometry.
Over time, the original burner screen can accumulate carbonized grease deposits, suffer corrosion from flue gas condensate, or develop distorted or torn screen sections that disrupt the flame pattern and reduce heating efficiency. A degraded burner results in uneven vat temperatures, increased fuel consumption, and potential flameout or unsafe combustion conditions. Installing the replacement burner restores the correct flame profile and full heating capacity.
The burner assembly slides into the fryer's burner tube mounting position and connects to the existing gas manifold. It is recommended to inspect and clean the burner screen during each quarterly preventive maintenance service and replace it whenever visible damage or persistent uneven heating is detected. Pairing the new burner with a flue box cleaning and pilot assembly inspection will give the Solstice Gas fryer optimal combustion performance.
