PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Power Supply And Bracket for Turbochef Part# TBCNGC3069

Details
This quality replacement Power Supply and Bracket assembly provides a 24VDC regulated power supply and its factory-matched mounting bracket for TurboChef NGC ovens and compatible TurboChef control platforms, delivering the stable low-voltage DC power required by the oven's control board, display, relay coils, door switch circuits, and all other 24VDC logic and safety components. The power supply converts the oven's line-voltage AC input to clean, regulated 24VDC at the current capacity the NGC's control architecture demands, with the bracket ensuring correct physical positioning, vibration isolation, and chassis grounding contact that the factory design requires. Supplying the bracket with the power supply ensures both components are dimensionally compatible and eliminates the risk of installing a power supply that is physically unsupported or improperly grounded.
Power supply failure in the NGC manifests as complete control board inoperability—dark display, no response to keypad input, inability to initiate any cook cycle—or as intermittent control behavior including random resets, false fault codes, and erratic relay operation caused by output voltage ripple when the power supply's internal filter capacitors degrade. Common failure causes include electrolytic capacitor aging under sustained thermal stress, surge damage from line-voltage transients, and fan failure in the power supply module causing internal overtemperature shutdown. Because the 24VDC supply powers the safety interlock circuit as well as the control board, a degraded supply can also generate spurious door-open faults or interlock chain errors that are misdiagnosed as switch failures.
Replacement requires de-energizing the oven and confirming 24VDC output is absent before disconnecting the supply's DC output terminals; mount the replacement supply to the bracket, secure the bracket to the chassis mounting points at the specified torque, and reconnect DC output leads per the NGC wiring diagram, ensuring polarity is correct on all terminal blocks. Measure 24VDC output under load before reconnecting the control board to confirm the replacement supply is within the ±5% voltage regulation specification. Replace the power supply and bracket whenever control board faults trace to low or unstable 24VDC supply, and pair the replacement with inspection of the control board capacitors and relay contacts to address the full 24V control circuit during one service event.
