Details
The Pitco Pump Assembly is a direct replacement pump unit for Pitco commercial fryer oil filtration systems. It is supplied as a complete assembled unit including the pump body, impeller, and all seals, ready for direct installation into the filter system. Using the correct assembly eliminates the need to source and match individual pump components and ensures all internal clearances and materials meet Pitco's design specifications for hot-oil service.
Over time, the original pump assembly can fail due to impeller erosion from abrasive carbon particles, seal degradation from prolonged exposure to high-temperature oil, or cavitation damage from running the pump without adequate oil prime. These failures lead to reduced filtration throughput, oil leaks at the pump housing, or a complete inability to return filtered oil to the fryer vat. Installing the replacement pump assembly brings the filtration circuit back to full specification immediately.
The assembly mounts directly on the existing pump bracket using the original hardware and connects to the system hoses at the inlet and outlet ports. It is recommended to replace the pump assembly as a unit during major filter system overhauls or when individual component replacement is not economical. Pairing the new pump assembly with a motor inspection and filter hose replacement will give the oil management system a comprehensive and durable service restoration.
