PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Pump Gasket for Jackson Part# 05330-002-81-83

Details
This is a replacement Pump Gasket (part# 05330-002-81-83) designed for Jackson commercial warewashing equipment, including undercounter dishwashers, door-type dishwashers, flight-type conveyor dishwashers, glass washers, and pot & pan washers. The pump gasket creates a reliable seal between the pump housing and motor coupling, preventing water intrusion into motor cavities and maintaining the integrity of pressurized system components during intense warewashing cycles.
Pump gaskets degrade through thermal cycling as equipment moves between high-temperature operation and idle periods, chemical degradation from detergent exposure, and mechanical stress from thousands of pump cycles. Failure symptoms include visible water pooling near the pump motor interface, motor bearing noise suggesting water contamination, reduced water delivery pressure, and burnt smells indicating motor distress. Postponing gasket replacement results in progressive water contamination of motor windings, electrical component failure, complete pump motor seizure, and substantial equipment replacement costs.
Installation requires access to the pump motor coupling assembly and is best performed by qualified Jackson equipment technicians. The pump gasket is a direct fit replacement requiring disconnection of the pump assembly from the motor drive. Thoroughly clean both mating surfaces before installing the new gasket using a soft cloth and mild solvent. Apply a thin layer of food-grade lubricant around the gasket perimeter before reassembly. After installation, run the equipment at reduced pressure for one complete cycle, then visually inspect the joint for any signs of leakage before returning to full operational use.
