The Pitco Pump/Motor Assembly is a direct replacement combined pump and motor unit for Pitco commercial fryer oil filtration systems. Supplied as a single pre-assembled package, it eliminates the need for field-matching separate pump and motor components and ensures correct shaft coupling, port alignment, and electrical ratings right out of the box. Using the correct assembly guarantees compatibility with the filter system's flow, pressure, and voltage requirements.
Over time, the original pump/motor assembly can experience simultaneous degradation of both the motor windings and pump seals due to years of hot-oil exposure, vibration fatigue, and thermal cycling. Attempting to replace only one component of a worn assembly often results in premature failure of the retained component. Installing the complete replacement assembly provides a fresh, matched pump and motor with new seals, bearings, and windings ready for full-duty filtration service.
The assembly mounts on the filter pan bracket and connects to the inlet and outlet hoses and the electrical supply using the original hardware. It is recommended to replace the pump/motor assembly as a complete unit during scheduled major overhauls or whenever repair costs for individual components exceed the assembly cost.
