The Pitco Radiant 20-5/8 X 3W X 1 High is a direct replacement heat radiant for Pitco commercial gas fryers. Measuring 20-5/8 inches in length, 3 inches wide, and 1 inch high, this radiant sits directly above the gas burner to absorb combustion heat and re-radiate it uniformly across the underside of the fry vessel. Using the correct radiant ensures even temperature distribution throughout the oil bath, preventing localized hot spots that damage oil and produce inconsistently cooked food.
Over time, the original radiant can crack, warp, or deteriorate from thermal cycling and the intense heat generated at the burner, which disrupts its ability to spread heat evenly.
