PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Introducing our 2-Pole Relay for Turbo Chef part # 101273. This relay operates at 24VDC and features eight 1/4" tab terminals, providing reliable control for your equipment.

Details
The quality replacement Relay is a factory-specified electromechanical switching device for TurboChef commercial oven control circuits, providing the current-carrying and isolation characteristics required to reliably switch heating elements, blower motors, magnetron circuits, and other high-current loads under the direction of the oven's control board. TurboChef ovens rely on properly rated relays throughout their control architecture to isolate low-voltage logic signals from high-voltage load circuits, and the use of a direct replacement relay ensures coil voltage, contact rating, mechanical life rating, and footprint exactly match the original component to maintain circuit integrity and long-term reliability. Substituting non-replacement relays with mismatched contact ratings or coil impedances can cause control board damage, nuisance tripping, or unsafe operation.
Electromechanical relays in commercial oven environments are subject to contact welding from inrush current on resistive heating loads, coil burnout from sustained elevated ambient temperatures inside the oven's electrical enclosure, and mechanical wear of the armature spring that results in contact bounce or failure to release. Symptoms of a failed relay include oven circuits that remain permanently energized or fail to energize on command, error codes on the oven display indicating circuit faults, inconsistent heat output, or heating elements that do not respond to control inputs. Replacing the faulty relay with a quality unit immediately restores correct circuit switching behavior, eliminates nuisance faults, and protects downstream components from the overcurrent and thermal stress associated with a stuck-closed or intermittently operating relay.
Relay replacement requires power isolation and confirmation of capacitor discharge before working in the electrical enclosure; the relay plugs into or is soldered to the relay board per the specific oven's wiring diagram, and polarity or pin orientation must be confirmed before reinstallation. Replace relays proactively when contact resistance measurements exceed manufacturer limits, when audible clicking becomes erratic or absent, or when the control board logs repeated circuit-state faults. Pair relay replacement with a full inspection of associated wiring harness connections for heat damage, a cleaning of the electrical enclosure, and a functional test of the switched circuit across the full cook cycle before returning the oven to production.
