The Pitco Runner Tube 648 R/H is a direct replacement right-hand gas distribution tube for specific Pitco commercial fryer models. As the right-hand tube in a dual-tube burner manifold system, it routes gas to the right-side burner ports and works in concert with the left-hand tube to deliver uniform combustion heat across the width of the fry vessel. Using the correct right-hand tube ensures proper port alignment, flow rate, and the combustion balance needed for even oil temperature distribution from side to side.
Over time, the original R/H runner tube can suffer port fouling from grease carbonization, corrosion of the tube body, or fatigue cracking at bends and weld points from prolonged thermal cycling. Right-side port blockages or a cracked tube create combustion asymmetry, causing oil temperature variation across the vessel and inconsistent frying results. Replacing it with this 648 R/H runner tube restores proper gas distribution to the right-side burner ports, correcting any heat imbalance and returning the fryer to even, efficient combustion.
