The Pitco Runner Tube 660 L/H is a direct replacement left-hand gas distribution tube for specific Pitco commercial fryer models. Configured as the left-hand tube in a dual-tube burner manifold arrangement, it distributes gas from the main supply to the left-side burner ports, working in tandem with the right-hand tube to deliver balanced combustion heat across the full fry vessel. Using the correct left-hand runner tube maintains the proper flow balance and port alignment the dual-burner system requires for even oil temperatures.
Over time, the original L/H runner tube can develop port blockages from carbonized grease, external corrosion from heat and moisture exposure, or cracking at stress points along the tube body. Blockages in the left-hand tube create a combustion imbalance between left and right sides of the fryer, resulting in uneven oil temperatures, inconsistent product quality, and increased fuel consumption. Replacing it with this 660 L/H runner tube restores the correct gas flow to the left-side burner ports, re-establishing combustion balance across the vessel.
Installation requires isolating the gas supply, disconnecting the tube from the manifold and burner ports, and securing the replacement in the left-hand position with the appropriate fittings. It is recommended to service both the L/H and R/H runner tubes simultaneously to ensure balanced combustion when either is found to be damaged.
