The Pitco Runner Tube is a direct replacement gas distribution tube for Pitco commercial deep fryers. It distributes gas from the main supply manifold along the length of the burner assembly, delivering fuel to each burner port at a consistent pressure and volume for uniform combustion across the full width of the fry vessel. Using the correct runner tube ensures the proper diameter, port spacing, and fitting connections needed to maintain even flame distribution and rated heat output.
Over time, the original runner tube can accumulate internal grease deposits or corrosion that partially block individual ports, suffer external corrosion from moisture and heat cycling, or develop cracks at welds or bends that cause gas leaks. Blocked ports produce uneven burner flames and hot or cold zones within the fry vessel, while any gas leak from the tube creates a serious safety hazard.
