The Pitco Shoulder Washer 7/16 Od X 3/16 Id is a direct replacement shoulder washer for Pitco commercial fryer component assemblies. With a 7/16-inch outer diameter and 3/16-inch inner diameter, the shoulder design provides both a bearing surface and a precise standoff distance, isolating or spacing components at panel cutouts, valve bodies, or other mounting points where a standard flat washer would not provide the necessary shoulder engagement. Using the correct shoulder washer maintains proper component spacing and electrical or mechanical isolation in the assemblies where it is specified.
Over time, the original shoulder washer can compress, crack, or corrode from heat and chemical exposure, losing the dimensional precision needed to hold the mating component at the correct depth or provide effective electrical isolation. A degraded shoulder washer allows components to shift or contact surfaces they should not, potentially causing electrical shorts, valve misalignment, or fastener loosening.
