Details
The Southbend Hood/fitting Orifice #56 (Part# 1195077) is a genuine OEM replacement burner/ignition component for Southbend commercial ranges and cooking equipment. This component is part of the gas burner or pilot ignition system on Southbend commercial ranges and cooking equipment, directing or metering the gas flow that produces the flame the equipment relies on.
Direct exposure to flame and combustion byproducts gradually causes carbon buildup, corrosion, or warping in burner and pilot components, leading to a weak or uneven flame, hard starting, or a pilot that will not hold.
Replacement should be performed by a qualified gas technician. Shut off the gas supply to the unit and allow it to cool completely before disconnecting the affected component from the gas train, noting orientation. Remove the old part, install the new one in the same position, and reconnect gas fittings with fresh sealant as required. Restore gas supply, check all connections for leaks, and test ignition and flame quality before returning the unit to service.
