PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Spring 4-1/2 for Cleveland Part# KE50122

Details
The Spring 4-1/2 (Part# KE50122) is a Cleveland-compatible replacement spring for use in Cleveland commercial cooking and steamer equipment mechanical assemblies. Springs are used throughout Cleveland equipment in door mechanisms, valve actuators, hinges, latches, and various other components where stored mechanical energy, consistent return force, or controlled resistance is required.
Springs can fatigue and lose tension over time from repeated compression or extension cycles, and can also fail abruptly from corrosion, excessive loading beyond their design limits, or physical damage. A spring that has taken a set may cause a door to not close properly, a valve to not return to its normal position, or a mechanism to operate with insufficient force.
Spring replacement is typically a straightforward mechanical task for a qualified service technician with the equipment de-energized. Access the component that houses the spring, carefully remove the old spring noting its orientation and installation method, and install the new Spring 4-1/2 in the same configuration. Verify that the spring provides the correct return force and that the mechanism operates smoothly through its full range of motion before returning the equipment to commercial service.
