The Steam Valve 3/4" (Part# 22198) is a Cleveland-compatible replacement valve for use in Cleveland commercial steamer and cooking equipment. Valves control the flow of steam, water, or gas through the equipment plumbing and distribution system, manufactured to the correct port size, pressure rating, and material specification for reliable service in Cleveland commercial kitchen equipment.
Valves can fail due to seat wear from the continuous passage of fluid or steam, mineral scale buildup that prevents proper seating, corrosion of the valve body from the kitchen environment, or failure of actuator components in motorized or solenoid-operated valve designs. Common failure symptoms include visible leakage past a closed valve, a valve that cannot be fully opened or closed, or erratic flow control that leads to inconsistent equipment performance.
