The Steamer Element 208/220V 12000W 2-1/4 (Part# 08165) is a Cleveland-compatible replacement steamer heating element for use in Cleveland commercial steamer equipment. The heating element is the primary heat-generating component of the steamer, converting electrical energy into the intense heat required to boil water and generate the steam that cooks food products, manufactured to the exact wattage and voltage rating required for the Cleveland model.
Heating elements are consumable parts that degrade over time through repeated thermal expansion and contraction cycles, exposure to hard water mineral deposits, and the elevated temperatures of continuous commercial use. Element failure is one of the most common service calls for commercial steamers and typically presents as longer cook times, insufficient steam generation, or a complete failure to produce steam. Mineral scale accumulation on the element surface is a leading cause of premature failure.
Heating element replacement should be performed by a qualified service technician with the unit de-energized, drained of water, and cooled. Remove the access panel to the element compartment, disconnect the electrical connections from the element terminals, and remove the element from its mounting. Inspect the element well for scale buildup and clean thoroughly before installation.
