The Stoelting Beater Shaft Spring (Part# 2208565) is a genuine OEM replacement spring for Stoelting soft serve and frozen dessert machines. Installed as part of a mechanical assembly on Stoelting soft serve and frozen dessert machines, this spring supplies the return tension needed for correct operation of the component it supports.
Springs are placed under constant load and repeated flexing every time the assembly they support is cycled, and that fatigue eventually causes the spring to weaken, stretch, or break outright. A failing spring typically presents as a door or component that no longer returns to position, sags, or feels loose compared to normal operation.
Replacement should be performed by a maintenance technician. With the equipment de-energized, relieve tension on the assembly carefully before removing the worn spring from its mounting points.
