The Stoelting Scraper Blade (Part# P04.244) is a genuine OEM replacement cutting/scraper blade for Stoelting soft serve and frozen dessert machines. As a wear component in the product path of Stoelting soft serve and frozen dessert machines, this blade maintains the cutting or scraping action the equipment's process depends on.
Blades like this are in constant contact with product and, in many cases, a barrel, drum, or opposing surface, which gradually dulls the cutting edge or wears down the scraping surface. A worn blade typically shows up as an uneven cut, product buildup that should have been scraped away, or increased load on the motor driving it.
Replacement should be performed by a qualified technician. De-energize the equipment and lock out the drive mechanism before accessing the blade, then remove the fasteners securing it and take out the worn blade. Install the new blade in the same orientation and clearance as the original, securing it fully, and confirm proper clearance and smooth operation before restoring power and returning the unit to service.
