PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Thermostat for Cleveland Part# 2300500

Details
The Thermostat (Part# 2300500) is a Cleveland-compatible replacement thermostat for use in Cleveland commercial steamer and cooking equipment. The thermostat is the primary temperature sensing and control device responsible for cycling the heating circuit on and off to maintain the set point temperature throughout the cooking or holding cycle, calibrated to the correct sensing range and switching differential for precise, consistent temperature control.
Thermostats can drift out of calibration over time or fail entirely due to the thermal cycling, vibration, and moisture exposure inherent to commercial kitchen operation. Symptoms of a failing thermostat include temperatures that run consistently high or low compared to the set point, equipment that cycles on and off too frequently, or a unit that fails to heat at all.
Thermostat replacement should be performed by a qualified service technician with the equipment de-energized and cooled. Remove the old thermostat, noting the capillary routing if a bulb-type thermostat is used, and carefully route the new sensing element to the same location. Reconnect the control circuit wiring and calibrate to the correct set point per the Cleveland service manual. Conduct a full operational test through a complete heating cycle before returning the equipment to commercial production.
