The 24 L x 1/4 in Compressor, Stainless Steel, Flex Pilot Tubing (Part# 226224) is a genuine OEM Town Food Service replacement part for use in Town gas ranges and cooking equipment. Gas-tight plumbing between the manifold, valves, pilots, and burners depends on properly specified fittings and hardware, and Town supplies these components made to fit its equipment. This 24-inch length of 1/4-inch stainless steel flexible pilot tubing routes gas from the pilot valve to the pilot through tight spaces behind the range.

Fittings, tubing, and mounting hardware are replaced when threads are damaged, ferrules have been over-compressed, tubing is kinked or work-hardened, or corrosion sets in. Any of these conditions can produce a slow gas leak that shows up as gas odor, pilot problems, or declining burner performance.

Replacement must be performed by a qualified service technician with the gas supply shut off. Remove the old component, install the new 24 L x 1/4 in Compressor, Stainless Steel, Flex Pilot Tubing using thread sealant rated for fuel gas where appropriate (never on flare or compression seating surfaces), and leak-test the completed connections with an approved solution before restoring the equipment to service.
