PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Town Food Service 249047 is an original Town Food Service replacement component designed for commercial wok ranges, stockpots, and rice equipment, helping maintain heat control, safety, and durability in busy kitchens.

Details
The Pressure Regulator, RV47C (Part# 249047) is a genuine OEM Town Food Service replacement part for use in Town gas cooking equipment. The gas pressure regulator reduces incoming supply pressure to the precise water-column pressure the appliance is designed to burn at, protecting the equipment and ensuring full rated heat output. This RV47C pressure regulator is the appliance-type regulator fitted to Town gas cooking equipment.
A failed or mis-set regulator shows up as low, lazy flames and extended cooking times when delivery pressure is too low, or as oversized, hard flames and possible safety shutdowns when pressure is too high. Diaphragm fatigue, debris in the valve seat, and a blocked vent are the most common failure modes.
Regulator replacement must be performed by a qualified gas service technician. With the supply shut off, remove the old regulator, install the new Pressure Regulator, RV47C oriented per the flow arrow on the body, and leak-test all joints. Verify outlet pressure with a manometer against the appliance rating plate before placing the equipment back into service.
