PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Town Food Service 252241 is an original Town Food Service replacement component designed for commercial wok ranges, stockpots, and rice equipment, helping maintain heat control, safety, and durability in busy kitchens.

Details
The Safety Pilot for Ring Burners (Natural Gas) (Part# 252241) is a genuine OEM Town Food Service replacement part for use in Town stock pot ranges and wok ranges. The pilot provides the standing flame that ignites the main burner on demand, and a reliable pilot is essential for both safety and uninterrupted kitchen production. This safety pilot is matched to Town ring burners on natural gas, providing a standing flame with flame-failure protection at the burner.
Pilots are exposed to grease, food debris, and intense radiant heat, and over time the orifice can clog or the pilot body can corrode and deform. Symptoms of a failing pilot include a flame that will not stay lit, a weak or lazy pilot flame, delayed main burner ignition, or a pilot that goes out whenever the main burner cycles.
Pilot replacement should be performed by a qualified service technician with the gas supply shut off. Disconnect the pilot tubing, remove the old pilot from its mounting, and install the new Safety Pilot for Ring Burners (Natural Gas) in the same location. Leak-test the tubing connection, light the pilot, and confirm a steady flame that reliably ignites the main burner before returning the range to service.
