    The TurboChef Cooking Basket, PTFE Solid, 14.2" is a genuine OEM replacement cooking accessory for TurboChef NGC and HHB rapid cook ovens. The solid PTFE-coated 14.2-inch basket provides a non-stick, food-safe cooking surface within the oven cavity, allowing foods to be cooked directly in the basket without sticking while still receiving full exposure to the impingement hot air jets from above and below. Using the correct OEM PTFE solid basket ensures the dimensions and coating specification are matched to the NGC and HHB cavity geometry and jetplate configuration, maintaining proper airflow patterns around the basket perimeter.

    Over time, the original PTFE-coated basket can experience coating degradation, scratching from metal utensils, warping from thermal cycling, or corrosion of the underlying metal substrate in the presence of cleaning chemicals, which leads to food sticking, uneven heat transfer, difficulty in cleaning, and potential food safety concerns from flaking PTFE in advanced stages of wear.
