The Pitco Twin Basket - Coated Handle is a direct replacement fry basket for Pitco commercial deep fryers. It features a vinyl or epoxy-coated handle to provide a secure, heat-insulated grip and can serve as a color-coded allergen management tool in multi-product kitchens. Using the correct basket ensures dimensional compatibility with Pitco fryer wells and lift systems for safe, efficient frying.
Over time, fry baskets sustain damage from repeated thermal cycling, mechanical impacts, and exposure to caustic cleaning chemicals, leading to peeling coatings, cracked welds at the handle attachment, and deformed wire mesh. A basket in this condition can release coating debris into the oil, fail structurally during a loaded lift, or fail to seat properly in the lift mechanism. Installing this replacement basket restores a safe, intact cooking and handling surface.
The basket is a direct drop-in replacement and requires no tools or hardware to install.
